I really liked this book, but at the same time a part of me was realy upset with the Charaters. Cam and Mia were by far the ones who upset me the most. Cam had the perfect like, a cop and a wife who would do anything to keep him satisfied. Mia an ungrateful woman who was taken unders Allies wing, but she decided to sleep with her husband in her own house! It wasnt just a one time thing, they went off on a trips as a 'married couple', her nver seemed to have remorse for cheating on his wife, he only realized he had screwed up once Allie put one & one together. In other other hand Jamie was a man who loved his wife so much he was willing to do anything, so she could be happy even if that meant killing her. I love how she made there last few days together somthing so beautiful even there last seconds together before he puts the pillow over her face. She had terminal cancer, but then he begins to question her love towards him. How could she be so selfish and only think about the pain she wanted to get rid of? Why didnt she worry about what was going to happen to him after he murdered her? I really would have wished if Allie and Jamie would have stayed together. I was a really good book, but again the fact that he cheated on his wife and feel deeply for Mia really fast/couple of days made me upset.

Bianca I agree cam and Mia's relationship really upset me, and what was even worse was he was still thinking about her while he was trying to patch things up with allie. Maybe that is realistic but it did not make for an enjoyable read. Some things didn't make much sense like Jodi described towards the end how cam wished allie had left a note (like she usually does) to tell him where she had gone that morning, then it went into describing how allie wished he would leave notes for her when he was going out somewhere and how she would dispatch calls to find out where he was, why didn't she do that when cam was spending so much time away from the house. I understand she assumed he was busy with the murder trial, but if she had stopped by to drop off flowers (like she did at the beginning of the book) she would've realised he wasn't sitting in his office doing double shifts he would be at wheelock in with Mia. I dunno, I kinda enjoyed the read but it definitely could've been better.
