Suspenseful with a tight cast of characters, made the book easy to follow while keeping a direct interwoven narrative which King seems to do at his best. The simplicity of the monster, helps direct an aggression that eats away at the reader through its cerebral horror. Lots of gore in close quarters.
Although it didn't really inspire too many drawings, I was able to zone out to it lots.
