Recommended for: Reading programs in schools that teaches English as first or second language
Read in April, 2008

Many of the stories in this book, I read in Arabic long time ago, yet I enjoyed them as if I was reading for the first time.

I was impressed by the writer’s style; he was able to translate many Arabic expressions and present them in a way that is acceptable to the reader of English literature.

I highly recommend this book for schools in the Arabic/Islamic countries that teach English as second language, and for schools in the west that teach English as first language and wish to expose their students to Middle Eastern old culture.
