bookshelves: horror

Two lonely children wait for their father to come home at an old inn by the coast in Cornwall. In comes a sailor and begins to tell them stories that chill to the bone.

It's a good collection of gothic stories, some gruesomely surprising and horrifying enough that it is surprising that this should be a children's book. Stephen King for junior!
