Just finished this book. Luna was my all time favorite band in the 90's. Dean Wareham, founder, singer, songwriter of said band wrote a book about his experience. Painfully frank, wonderfully cynical and full of detail about what is like to be in a band. A band with a strong following on a major label that eventually gets dropped and breaks up. This book gave me a lot of closure and effectively extinguished and lingering fantasies about running off to be a rock star. I read this book in one week, which in and of itself is astounding.

722691 You write a good review. But then I remember: you're a writer. Hee. I need to go back and write a review or two. Do you miss working for Red Herring?

I became a fan of Luna myself some years ago (ahem). The boyfriend I was with after knowing you became a fan eventually as well. Tee hee.

Who are you listening to these days, Mr. Mixtape?
