Leo is found as an orphaned cub by a kind Pakistani goat herd. Once Leo gets too big for the goat herd to care for, the Pakistani authorities step in and they in turn, call in the Wildlife Conservation Society. Leo goes on a complicated and dangerous trip from the Himalayas to the Bronx Zoo, where experts on the endangered snow leopard now care for him. I liked how this story showed such cooperation between Pakistani and the US organizations and gov't authorities, and the kindness and bravery of the people involved. Of course, even though we have snow leopards at our own zoo, Logan now wants to go see Leo in New York.
