I really liked this book. It took me longer to read though because I have been doing so much. But once I got past some parts that I felt kept dragging on, I could not put it down.

The author shows us that even though there are hot shot actors/actresses, they still have a choice on who they want to marry. In this book, the actor chose to marry someone who was not famous.

It starts out with a Jane Doe who is found at a church and she does not remember anything, but slowly throughout the book, you can see that she gets flashbacks about what was going on in her life before she was found at the church and starts to realize that her husband was abusing her.

Even though on the outside, it looked like a perfect marriage, on the inside no one knew what the main character was going through because she never told anyone, just like all women or men who go through the abuse.

There were some parts that dragged on, but once I got through those parts, I could not put it down. The author shows us the way the abuser keeps saying sorry and promises never to do it again, but it keeps happening.

What I really enjoyed about this book was that near the end, it showed that the main character finally got up the courage to leave him and tell the world what had happened between the two of them and that her husband had abused her for years before she finally go the courage to leave him.

Good read and I recommend it to anyone!
