Greg Mortensen's story is truly a "5-star" story. What he has done in a part of the world that is largely unknown and mysterious to Americans is absolutely incredible!... A real testament to what one determined person can accomplish! It inspires me to want to get more involved in the world around me...
However, I felt the book was so poorly written, I just couldn't
give it 5 stars! It was so overly wordy and got bogged down in trivial details which distracted from the true message of the book! Though I applaud the effort to get the story out there, (after all, it's the only way people like me heard of it), I think it would have had more impact and could have been told more effectively in half the amount of pages...
