This series is still a favorite for me but it's taken a little bit to get back where we started. While it was a huge improvement on the last, I couldn't quite give it 5 stars yet. The second half was fantastic and why I fell in love with it in the first place. The first half however, was another story. The writing switched back and forth between an adult feel and a YA feel. It made it start out a little frustrating, and I feared with Ethan's attitude, we were going to keep our back and forth going through as many books as possible. Thankfully we got resolution in this book and were spared. Ethan luckily is back with a vengeance. His alpha attitude improved and he is still one of the sexiest vampires. Merit continues to grow and be one of my favorite heroines. Hoping the next one continues in the same fashion this one ended!

Sophie Jealous!! Really want to read this.. But I've forgotten soo much of what's happened in the previous books =[.. might have to re-read
I bet its so good as well..

Laura Carson I think you'd be ok (I'm not too far into it.) You can always send me questions and I can try to answer lol. I hate that when you have to wait for books to come out! I always feel like I'm forgetting things.

Lexxie (un)Conventional Bookviews I went into this one not completely trusting what I would get either. And although I liked it more than the last two books, it wasn't all I wanted it to be... Great review!

Laura Carson Thanks! Yeah I'm hoping it continues uphill from here!
