Heidi (Kingfisher Classics) by Johanna Spyri
Mom read this one out-loud when I was five or six. I absolutely loved it! The description of the scenery is absolutely captivating. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend it to any girl who enjoyed the Anne of Green Gables series, Laura Engels Wilder series, or the Secret Garden. It's an excellent book for reading out-loud :)
