This was a very enjoyable read. It was a shorter book than I am used to, but this was a welcome change. I really liked the detail that described the events that took place throughout the book and it was interesting to see the charcters develop over the story. Grace, a young girl who loses her father, and Kate, her mother, both thrown through waves of despair at the loss. Grace finds herself expiercing her past lives at a couple stages during the book, a concept i am intrigued by. Though this concept will more likely grow and become increasingly relevent in the future installments. Grace, withour realising, finds herself surrounded by people who are more than they seem, there were a few hints in regards to this, but no definite answer as to who they are. So it will be very interesting to see hwo the story unfolds in the next installment as there were many things that were left open, for my mind to ponder! I look forward to the second book in this series!
