** spoiler alert ** As I've said before, I think the Fargo Adventures have become my favorite of Cussler's series. As much as I love Dirk & Al, Dirk Jr. & Summer, Kurt & Joe and the crew of the Oregon, the Fargos adventures are just more fun. They aren't saving the world. It isn't always life and death, although that does happen. It's more of an adventure with the Fargos.

"The Kingdom" is more of the same. Sam and Remi are hired by the guy we all know is the villain to find a friend of theirs who the villain had hired to find his missing father. Turns out its all a ruse and the villain really wants the Fargos to find this hidden box that the villain's father was looking for. From there, the adventure is on as the Fargos try to elude the bad guys while find the treasure and taking down the villains.

There isn't a lot of violence (some, but not a lot) and the villain isn't trying to take over the world. It's just a fun adventure.
