i was surprised by how pulled into this book i got. and when i finished i couldn't stop thinking about it. to me that is a good book. basically this book takes place in our world (but like australia) but there is this one bit that is different. there is the place. only certain people have the ability to enter the place and when in there they collect dreams which they can then broadcast to anyone who is sleeping near them. imagine the possibilities: healing dreams happy dreams illicit romances...and nightmares. laura is the daughter of the most famous and most skilled dreamhunter and has just learned that she too can enter the place. but the place is not the benign entity that the general public believes it to be. some politicians have evil plans to use dreams to control the public and laura's father leaves her to prevent that from happening. coming of age political intrigue spiritual awakening this is a unique novel.
