While I absolutely LOVE this series, bawdy humor and all, even I have to admit, it's usually just plot-less humorous (and I do mean humorous) smut. Hey, we all need a daily fix right? BUT, I have to admit, this book combines the humor with actual plot and politics which made me like it more and give it a five star. I really don't give 5 stars to any fantasy books, those I give them to are the Kate Daniel series and some of the Spider Assassin series (You get the drift - I need plot. I need something interesting. I need the UNIQUE) But happily this book was a fun change of pace and made me enjoy and relax into my reading.
