3 words to describe the Hunger Games: amazing, unique and exhilarating.

I have to say that Stephenie Meyer has good taste in books! She was the reason I read the Hunger Games Trilogy and also The Mortal Instruments.

What I loved about the Hunger Games is the whole dystopian concept of the book. The idea of a reality show in which teenagers fought until death intrigued me. I remember first reading this book and my expectations for this book were surpassed!

The protagonist, Katniss is a strong female lead, she is relatable and I was just rooting for her throughout the book. The characters were all likable, or in some cases I hated (President Snow) because of how evil they are. The romance was well executed and there was just the right amount in the book.

Overall, The Hunger Games is a book that I can just read over and over and over and over again without getting bored of it. It's truly captivating. 5 stars!
