The main point that I have to make regarding this novel is that I strongly feel that it is a much bolder effort than that of the first of the series. The first novel is somewhat scrappy and disorganized, containing a lot of unnecessary fluff that really has nothing to do with the overarching story, but this novel was not like that by any means, at least not by such extreme means, anyway. This one manages to get directly to the point while still having a lot of fun. I also felt that it flows very nicely and has a good structure to it. It's writing quality is a great deal better than the first one as well, and ultimately, it's very entertaining and difficult to put down, which is a huge jump from the first novel. Now this series is going somewhere, and my hope is that it will continue in this direction.
