Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob

What does it say about me that the part that made me the angriest was when Whitey and Flemmi extort the Rakes' business right out from under them? To me, that was so much worse than anything else they did, even the murders. But the Rakes were totally innocent in the matter, and eventually Mr. Rakes is found guilty of perjury because he was too threatened by Bulger and Flemmi to testify against them. And I can't really blame them. This book made me about as angry as I've been in a long time while reading a book. Well worth the read, however, and a must if you're a fan of "The Departed."
