Think John Gray falls foul of his own claims as to what reality is, and what the illusions are. He uses science to show that we are the same as the animals, yet, he then critiques science, as a human endeavour...trying to run away from our animality. He uses this kind of flawed reasoning throughout. He is the one pointing the finger at the emperor saying he has no clothes, then telling everyone else, that they are also naked, and, he even gets to the point that he is acknowledging his own nakedness....but then, one wonders, why the hell are you pointing and blabbering in the first place. just shut up, go home, and watch t.v.! Stop spoiling the parade you asshole!! Maybe just to add to his own significance, blurbing out of his own sense of secret knowledge.
Besides all this, it is a book worth reading. I think someone else could have done a better job. ah well, he's just a human afterall.
