When scum-sucking, maid-raping, degenerate lowlife Ro Curtlee is released from prison on a technicality, people who helped send him to prison start dying--in messed-up, violent ways. But no fear, the San Fancisco PD and District Attorney Wes Ferrell are on the case.

Unfortunately, the Curtlee family basically OWNS San Francisco and the police are having a tough time proving their case against Ro. Chaos and mayhem ensue.

"Damage" by John Lescroart is not the best-written crime novel, but interesting enough for a mindless weekend of reading.
