I've fallen so hard for this series. Everything seems to get more serious in this book: the violence, the romance, and the repercussions. What I love about it is how thoughtful it is. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of action and explosions and what not, and that’s great, but there is also a lot of reflection, which is very powerful as well. Even when the characters have downtime and there’s not a lot of action, the story moves easily along. It’s never boring. It’s tense, exciting, drama-filled, heart-felt, surprising, and occasionally devastating.
