This is one of the most influential books I have read - not that it is particularly profound but it has so much to say about business, particularly the struggle many of us have to get the message out about what we do.

Its implications go much deeper than business though and it should be of interest to anyone concerned about how their ideas come across. The central theme is what the authors refer to as the "Curse of knowledge". In other words we find it almost impossible to remember what it was like not to know something, once we have come by that knowledge. This is so true in my experience.

The book then goes onto talk about what makes ideas sticky and uses the mnemonic SUCCES to pick up on the key elements.

Well written and thought provoking.
