A mystery with ghosts. Surprisingly I liked it as I don't normally read books with ghosts. Jordan moved to Port Chatham to get out of the spotlight for her soon-to-ex-husband's murder. She bought an old Victorian house and planned to revonate while deciding what to do with her life. The house has a few problems with it - peeling wallpaper, flaking paint, 2 ghosts who want Jordan to solve the murder of one of them in 1890.It was like reading two books at once as Jordan read the old journals looking for clues of Hattie's murder.
