A daring book about children face racism. This book gives you a detailed taste of how white and black children were separated. The children grew up with the mindset that they were meant to be separated, but Belle Teal grew up with a different perspective. She loved to see new face no matter what the skin color. Ann M. Martin writes this book to take on an adventure in the mind of a child who deals with racism.
