The Hollow (Hercule Poirot #25)
by Agatha Christie
by Agatha Christie
'The Hollow' had a strange, melancholy feel to it... the chapters featuring Poirot, which were few, didn't bring his usual comic relief--just lots of angsty people in unhappy relationships, shuffling around and scowling. Honestly, most of it didn't even sound like an Agatha Christie book. If not for the 1946 copyright inside the front cover, I'd have thought this was a bit of ghostwritten fan fiction.
