Ethan Taggart is a co-founder of Gemini Security. He's considered the pretty boy at Gemini and he runs this company along with his two brothers, Derek (his twin) and Danny. Ethan is a gorgeous, intelligent, and arrogant guy who doesn't have to chase "his" women. In fact, women fall all over his body when he's just looking at them. He doesn't do relationships and he doesn't fall in love, either. He likes to have casual sex and a few hours later he just says goodbye...This works just fine until he meets Toni Crawford. Toni is so not his type. She's a nerdy computer genius who happens to do work as a PI. Toni is tall and lean, with very white skin, dark hair AND she wears glasses. Ethan can't help it but this woman crawls right under his skin. Toni lacks self-confidence in herself regarding men. The last relationship ended badly when her boyfriend dumped her for another woman. When Ethan is hitting on her she can't believe it. Toni, Toni, where's your self-esteem?

Ethan and Toni meet when Kara, the daughter of Jerry Kramer (who hired Gemini Security) and his ex-wife (who hired Toni to investigate Jerry during divorce proceedings) disappears. Is it just a teen runaway or did somebody kidnap the girl? These two have to deal with how they want to proceed the investigation. And in doing so, it gets rather entertaining... :)

The suspense part is not all that intense, but I liked the plot about weapons for biowarfare. As usual the story is well written, the chemistry between hero and heroine is great, and the sex scenes are verrry hot! Sure, Ethan sounds like a moron, and he's a Lothario, but he's got his reasons for acting this way. And as the story unfolds you'll know all about his reasons. I felt that Toni is a great and interesting match for gorgeous Ethan. Enjoy!
