I think that most people that enjoy dystopian stories probably say they relate well with Jimmy. He's just that kinda guy that seems just all too ordinary. So after reading this - my 1st Atwood and 4th or 5th dystopian novel, I think that I need to find something a heck of a lot lighter. The potential reality depicted in Oryx & Crake is simply far too depressing. But unfortunately I will likely be reading The Handmaid's Tale and her newest: The Flood far too soon.
