Holy Blood, Holy Grail

I'm giving it 5 stars for its sheer entertainment value. For many people, it can serve as a good mind-expansion exercise, an encouragement to look past the surfaces of tradition and the Bible. Otherwise, the history is shoddy, the Priory of Sion an acknowledged scam, and the logical leaps required are many. Still, some of it is valid. And it's not so much important whether you believe in some of the things as that some people in history have.
I read in college and enjoyed it immensely for what it is, not what it claims to be. It's fun pseudo-history wrapped together with some actual history and some good old fashioned conspiracy-mongering.
