This author was realistically descriptive. You really feel her pain, doubt, and acceptance with her's mother decision to end her own suffering. Death is difficult for any family but this story was unique in that this family was immersed in the process of death from the planning through to the witnessing of final moments. I would recommend this book for anyone dealing with their own grief or going through the same predicament with someone in their family.
