Long story but yes, we had to scan the Canadian edition. We did three passes of proofreading--until you have to proofread an OCR-ed scanned text yourself though, maybe don't cast stones?

Cathy has written: "Disgraceful typesetting--riddled with errors--what'd they do, scan in a handwritten MS? "1" for "I", "m" for "in", eg runnmg. And ignorant mistakes, like balling for bawling."
