I wrote a short review (in Hungarian) at my blog: http://raveair.blogspot.com/2011/08/g...

In nutshell:
While the base concept is very good, the storyline is totally unbelievable. The two main Raven and Sigurd are two untouchable action heroes.

The description of the scenes and the details of the battles a little bit poor, and we don't know almost anything about the characters. The changes in Raven life are too fast, but he'll be the center of the events and a respectful member of the hoard of the Norsemen.

... and I don't see the point why the book contains an interview with the writter. I think just kind of self-advertisment.

It is said, because this book should be much better. Maybe I'll give a second chance to the writter.
