really liked it

Another entertaining book from Julia Quinn's Bridgerton Series featuring the youngest daughter of the family, Hyacinth, who is witty, smart, knows what she wants and is, thus, automatically not at all attractive enough for any of the guys in the ton as they fail to match up with her in the battle of wits and wisdom. To endure it all, comes along Gareth St. Clair, flamboyant, rakish, confident and smart, who has his own personal problems, the major being conflicts with his father who totally detests Gareth. What brings Hyacinth and Gareth together is a diary, holding Gareth's secrets, written in Italian which Hyacinth claims she can decipher and she definitely does.

Lady D, like always, is absolutely adorable. Though the presence of other Bridgerton siblings was rather missed, Gregory's cameo was real fun! Hyacinth and Gareth complement each other wonderfully, the light banter and romance is great to read!
