Vampires are always considered creatures of the night that aren't able to go out into the sunlight or go anywhere near crosses. However, in the romance novels by Lynsay Sands, they aren't called vampires; they are immortals. Lucian is the most rude one of the bunch that doesn't appear to ever be able to be polite, let alone have someone to share the rest of his life with. That is, until Leigh shows up. They are the perfect couple and are only encouraged by the rest of the Argeneau family. Lucian, however, has issues trying to convince Leigh that he won't abuse her like her ex-husband. Leigh has trust issues. Through several days of getting to know each other, they grow to eventually become life mates. Lucian finally has someone to share eternity with and Leigh is no longer without a family. Along for the ride are the rest of the Argeneau family as well as Donny, a close friend of Leighs that started the whole story in the first place. However, without him, Leigh and Lucian would have never met. :] Can't wait to read more about finding true love.
