This book drove me nuts! It was so good, and I can't believe how it ended! Unreal! But so like Dekker. He brings to mind some of the thoughts that have crossed my brain. Looking around and wondering how real and how permanent everything is around you. It's an odd and startling thought, and certainly not one that you want to dwell on for very long. The twists and turns in this novel were outstanding. I was on the edge of my seat. It was a lot like House in many ways. One way would be a psycho making an outrageous demand. The other way would be that it was so suspenseful that it had me powering through it just to find out what would happen. I missed my class at the gym this morning just to be able to stay up until 2am finding out what would happen! But that's how it is with a Ted Dekker novel. It grabs hold of you and let you go until the very end, and even then you're mind is still racing about in this other world.
