really liked it
Read in July, 2011 — I own a copy

Imagine seeing a photo of a small child, in a foreign country, and realizing that child looks like you at that age. That is the start of the life changing journey that Julia embarks on. Changing, not only her life, but strangers and family, as well
Good book, cleverly written, good plot, just the right amount of suspense and the ending was done very well. It was done so the story could be finished, or, (I'm hoping for the "or") there could be a sequel telling the other characters stories. Littlt hints that were given, that could have easily been overlooked, were attended to and not lost along the way. The characters were well planned and had depth, I could picture them. They weren't just a vague shadow of someone. The only thing I didn't care for were the pages detailing their sexual encounters. I don't read those and wish authors would go back to a fade out, end of chapter or segment of that chapter.
