I read this because my mom said it wasn't a normal Romance Novel (which I refuse to read) and she was right, for the most part. It was a fun read even with all the beyond belief time travel and ghost stuff. Eleanor is a good character that seemed to fit into Regency England but didn't lose too much of her modern day personality. The male characters were a little more one dimensional but not to bad. I like that the author didn't just try to make another Mr. Darcy. I think that parts of this story are much better then the book as a whole, if that makes sense? The Romance Novel-y stuff was a little bit hard to handle, but luckily there wasn't a lot of it and didn't ruin the story as much as I would of thought. It was a cute story that was written by an Austen fan for other Austen fans.
