Clever premise reasonably well executed. The story is gripping, though in a mostly content-free way. Some of the twists and turns the story takes are better than others, though all are unexpected. Unfortunately, Ruff never fully takes advantage of the main character's unstableness.

The ending is classic deus ex machina: Weak, unbelievable, and beside the point. Recommended for a plane ride or the beach, but don't expect any intelligence in the end.
