This is the third book set in the Five Hundred Kingdoms. The energy of this world is called The Tradition and is the energy of magic, particularly the magic found in fairy tales. In this one, the seventh daughter of the Sea King meets the Wise Fool, the seventh son of a Dry Lands King. They meet fall in love and save the Kingdoms from an evil Jinn.
Much more complicated plot with a great story and wonderful characters. Some overlap with the other two books in the series. The Fairy Godmother is the first one and One Good Knight is the second.
Great fun and really well written.
