it was amazing
Read in June, 2011

This is the second book I have read recently about the upsetting sexual underbelly of the UK -- the other was a memoir by Simon Palmer, Losing the Hate -- and this one is a powerful and disturbing realistic fiction, full of suspense, with moments of emotional horror and deep pity. Prepare to be shocked and moved and to root for characters who deserve better than they get!
