I hadn't read a Myron Bolitar book in a long time, so I was happy for this new one. Myron gets himself into another doozy of an adventure that takes him to Paris, London and of course NY and NJ.

Myron gets a frantic call from an old love (Terese) that takes him to see her in Paris. While there he gets beat up, shot, arrested a few times and caught in the middle of a murder investigation. His old friend Win is watching his back and supplying the types of help that only Win can. Terese, Myron and Win wind up in London following a trail of clues that lead back to a car accident 10 years ago that killed Terese's daughter. The plot gets thicker as the group gets involved with the Mossad, terrorists, Terese's ex-husband's wife, old colleagues and a cast of characters. As usual, Myron and friends wind up in NY and NJ for a wild finish and some great twists and turns. Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys is always in your mind as you are reading this book.

Some of what I love is dealing with Myron and his growing older. There are some tender scenes with his parents, Win and Esperanza, not to mention Terese. Myron and Win are wise cracking their way through life, but things really matter, the love for each other shows.

I read this book over 2 evenings; I just couldn't put it down.
