For anyone who likes the Beatles and wants a good laugh, this is the book for you. Alan Goldsher interviews the Beatles and all their cohorts over the years for this memoir. The catch is that in this version of reality, 3 of the 4 Beatles are zombies. Ringo is a 7th Level Ninja and not undead.

It all starts with John Lennon in the 1950s. He turns Paul and then George and then a lot of people who I always suspected were probably zombies. The story recalls all the Beatles major events, like their first trip to the US, their appearance on Ed Sullivan, their concert in Shea Stadium and many others. There is even a zombie version of the night Lennon was killed; in this version his dead is lopped off.

I was laughing out loud at much of this book. Some beings, like Roy Orbison, are neither zombies nor vampires. Roy is some otherworldy being, but no one really knows what. So if you want a little romp through an alternative history of the Beatles, this is it. The ending is priceless. It was just in their zombie nature.
