It's always fun to read about Myron Bolitar and his erstwhile crazy friend Win. This story is a definite maturing of the characters and of Coben's writing. As usual Myron is trying to help a friend or a client (client in this case) and gets mixed up in uncovering more mysteries than he intends.

This one is very personal, since it involves his brother and his brother's family. Myron is maturing as he finally decides to get married and realizes that mistakes in the past are coming back to haunt him. Fortunately, he and Win uncover all the clues to the mysteries, but not without a lot of pain and soul searching.

The story has its usual humor and wit, but there is a bit of finality to it. Myron and his friends have moved on in many ways and this could be the end of the line for these stories. But, never count him or Coben out on this one.
