Nophoto-f-25x33 This is the best one! He does a great job of tying the whole thing together. Enjoy!

718719 Hmmm... I really wanted to like this, but REALLY disliked Lyra's subservience to Will. What happened to the spunky, confident, pro-active little girl? To much, "Will! Oh, Will! What are we to do?" Also, way too much happens by complete accident or coincidence for my taste. I don't like that Lyra feels guilty about pursuing her interaction with Mary, with the alethiometer and Pan scolding her for doing so, but apparently Mary is to play a key role (to "play the serpent" which (I assume) means to play Satan and tempt Lyra/Eve) so Lyra was correct in her actions, contrary to what the alethiometer tells her to do. And so much for remembering her very bestest friend, Roger, who was murdered just a few days earlier and who was the reason for Lyra being on this whole adventure in the first place.

Nophoto-f-25x33 Your comment made me realize that it's been a while since I read these, because I don't remember many of the details you point out. I think I read all three while pregnant with Owen. I just remember that I liked the way that it all came together at the end in terms of the windows between the worlds. I should pull it out and take another look!
