Honesty, I don't know what it is about the Dream-Hunter books, but I am just not a fan. The redeeming qualities are when Acheron and Tory appeared and when we get more background on the Source. I didn't feel connected to Cratus and Delphine, but I liked the connection with an earlier Dream-Hunter novel. That part was redeeming, but the rest of the novel seemed to work out a little too well. The near-death experiences lasted half of a page. While I am glad my main character survived, it was a bit too cookie-cutter. I feel like Kenyon takes shortcuts with the relationships in the Dream-Hunter novels when we get a little more effort in the Dark-Hunter and Were-Hunter novels.

Speaking of that...where are more Were-Hunters?

And, the last line of the book...that will keep me reading! Those of you who have read it know what I am talking about. Think Madoc and a revelation!

P.S. What are Jared and Jaden? I'm assuming brothers because they will each have their own book out (I hope) and they may find their female redeemers.
