I listened to the audio verion of this book & can't believe I finished it in two days. I was browsing around my library's audio book website & came across this one. Sounded interesting. It takes place in 17th century Persia, told from the point of view of a 14 year old girl who has lost her father, so she & her mother must move to the big city to live with relatives. I really enjoyed this story. I don't know anything about this area of the world during this time period & found the story very interesting. This audio version also had an interesting & informative interview with the author at the end of the story.
