I liked this book a whole lot. The heroine has broken into an earl's house to take revenge for her mother--and learns things aren't necessarily what she's always thought they were. The new earl--the old one is dead--wants her to pretend to be someone, a long-lost daughter of the dead man. He says she really is this daughter, though the heroine doesn't believe him. Still, it's a cushy life. And she really likes the earl. And--it's a very good, very well told story. I liked it a lot.
