So disappointing. Besides the endless descriptions of the caves, the mother's song became simply ridiculous. While I realise it was an important device in the book, it was too much.

My impression was that she had run out of ideas for her characters but wanted to tie up some loose ends, over and over and over again.

Remember the first two with pleasure (I know, I know) and don't read this one, unless you are a die hard fan.
