really enjoyed this story, which also introduces characters for next books in this series. the kidnapping was portrayed very realistically, and we have all read in the papers and seen in the news that this does happen. martin burnham and his wife, missionaries from kansas, were captured and held for over a year, and martin was killed dring the rescue attempt. anyway, this book was very good, the plot very believable, the action fast-paced, and the characters were real. what more could a reader ask for?
