Not a bad book all-in-all. It really seemed like two books combined into one. Part One was all about the characters in 1977 and all teenagers. Part Two, they're all grown up. The mystery carried on though Part Two that had been left with you in Part One. Interesting, to say the least. Could have been made into two books for a two series, but that may not have been an option.
The "suspense" part of how this book is filed under romantic suspense, came very late in the book and either I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have or I didn't realize things until exactly when the author wanted me to. At time though, I really felt like I was reading a Harlequin novel; especially near the end when there seemed to be a whole lot of sex happening between all the players (though, certainly not all at once!).
Picked up in an airport newsstand so I would have something to read on the plane home, it held my interest and kept me reading - if nothing more than to discover, pard...more
