I shelved this under UF but I'm not sure it's really that. It was a pretty good story if you don't read too much into it. There were a few things (as a military wife) that just didn't jive for me, like the Badass Syd not knowing what FUBAR means. I loved Steele's character.

There were just so many things that made me think "Why did this covert, awesome, recruits all the badasses from everywhere, do half the stuff before hand?" Why they needed a guy 2 years out of the game (which is a lot when you're talking technology, politics etc) to figure out they needed to do some of this stuff?

I think it's a great premise and I did enjoy the relationship between Steele and Syd.
