2003- Where to start in what's wrong with this book...Perhaps we can start with the boring hardly-developed characters, nonexistent plot, and plain bad writing. I was eager to read about Cleopatra's early life in Egypt, but alas, most of the book took place in Italy! There really was no climax to the story, and the characters I felt were just thrown into the story just so the author could say ""Oh look, who showed up."" A total waste of time.
